Can I use and operate my phone while in the waterproof pouch?
Yes. All phone models and their touch screen features are fully functional while in the CaliCase.
Should I perform a waterproof test before using my CaliCase?
Yes. We recommend that before you place your phone in the CaliCase that you perform a quick waterproof test. Place a dry paper towel in your CaliCase and submerge it underwater. As long as there’s no signs of water seepage, you’re good to go.
How far underwater is it safe to take my CaliCase?
The CaliCase has a waterproof IPX8 rating, which makes it safe for depths as far as 100 feet.
Can I take photos and videos with my CaliCase?
Yes. Thanks to the clear plastic on both sides of the CaliCase, you can use your front or rear camera to take pictures, selfies or videos!
What if I lose my phone while I’m surfing, will it float to the surface?
Yes. Two layers of built-in foam padding make CaliCase float above water. If you drop your phone while surfing, it will bounce back to the surface. Keeping your CaliCase attached to your wrist, using the included lanyard, adds double assurance that you’ll easily be able to find your phone.
Can I use CaliCase with an Otterbox case?
Yes. The XL CaliCase is recommended for use with thicker cases but primarily for larger phone models. Any Pro Max, XL or the Galaxy Note series phone model can be used with phones already protected by Otterbox or Lifeproof cases.
My phone is 6.1 inches high. Which CaliCase would work best for me?
We recommend the XL CaliCase for all phone models over 6 inches.
